The Gijima Training Academy is renowned for conducting high-quality and practical firearm training with a fully accredited indoor shooting simulator.
Infrastructure and resources include a fully functional control room, shooting range, tactical training area, K53 driver assessment track, sport facilities, computer training studio, numerous technologically enabled training rooms that accommodate small to large groups catering for entry to top level courses. Bidvest Protea Coin is proud to be associated with several likeminded partners focused on improving skill levels in the country, reducing unemployment levels and other similar objectives that make a positive sustainable impact especially within disadvantaged communities and the youth. Bidvest Protea Coin has numerous training accreditations and utilizes the services of several training partners to provide a comprehensive, wide range of private security and related skills development courses.
Tactical Training Facility and Obstacle Course
The tactical training facility and obstacle course is where participants are trained on practical security skills with realistic simulation and drills.
K53 Driver Testing and Off-road Track
Gijima's track allows for integrated tactical and vehicle maneuvers training, providing a holistic training experience for learners.
Control Room
The Gijima Training Academy Control Room is equipped with the latest technology and is part of the Company's disaster recovery strategy.
Computer Studio
The computer studio seats 25 students and offers a range of computer training courses, programs, and assessments.
